I admit it, I’ve been a serious slacker when it comes to updating pictures and writing. I did just post more pictures in Ethan’s folder as well as creating new folders for Christmas and our new baby boy that we’re expecting May 5. 
We had a great Christmas this year. Ethan still doesn’t completely understand Christmas, Santa or the actual story. But he was much more aware this year and had a lot of fun opening his presents. It took us a little over 2 hours to open all his presents, not because he got way too many but because he had to thoroughly play with each one before he was willing to open another one. It was kind of nice though, he wasn’t so concerned about getting things that he didn’t appreciate any of them. Instead he savored each gift and didn’t treat them like something he was due. He got a lot of new cars and a vacuum cleaner that is a smaller version of mine. He really likes to push it around like mommy does, too bad it doesn’t actually vacuum! We had a fun visit from his Grammy and Grandpa Melton, who spoiled him like crazy. We’ll see how he gets back to normal over the next few days. He has been taking some really good naps though! Ryan was able to stay home for a few extra days, it was nice to have him around. I can’t believe the new year starts in just a few hours! It should be a crazy one and I promise to try to keep you a little better updated. Have a great and safe new year!
