We had a good time at our Halloween party last night, the only downer was watching the Rockies lose yet again!  I posted a few pictures in Ethan’s folder that I forgot the other day and posted the Halloween pictures in their own folder.  We did get the doors finished in the basement this weekend, I’ve got a lot of staining to do!  It’s looking really good down there.  Just need to do the moulding and install the wet bar cabinets.

Ethan is doing well, he’s ten weeks old now!  He’s finally starting to grab at objects that are near him, still not really reaching much though.  He loves his activity mat, he’s playing there right now.  He’s talking a lot, wish I could understand what he’s saying!  He got his first taste of snow last Sunday and wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.  :)  Now it’s back to sunny weather.  We’re having our annual Halloween party this weekend so check back for Halloween pictures!

I forgot to post Ethan’s new vitals yesterday, his doctor pronounced him very healthy.  He’s now 12 lbs 15 oz (90th percentile) and 24 1/4 inches long (95th percentile) so he is a big guy!  No wonder none of his newborn clothes fit him anymore!  I’ve had him in 3 month old clothes for the past few weeks now.  He’s a little happier this morning after a pretty good night’s sleep.  I guess I need to go get him a Rockies shirt now, go Rockies!  For those of you who don’t know, the Rockies are going to the World Series after sweeping the Diamonbacks last night.  Have a great week!

Happy 2 month birthday today to Ethan!  He didn’t really have all that good of a day though.  He started his vaccine series today so he’s been pretty grumpy.  But maybe he’ll sleep well.    We had a very fun, productive weekend.  We went to a Mozart Bach Mother Goose concert on Saturday morning at the library that was a lot of fun and really packed.  Then we had the corn maze, sorry we didn’t really take many pictures there at all, but we had a lot of fun even though the weather could have been nicer.  We spent a lot of time in the basement and Ryan finished the bathroom plumbing last night, yeah!  Next up, doors and moulding.  Gotta go wake the monster so he can eat! 

Hey all!  I posted a few new pictures of Ethan and some of the basement too.  We’re going to a corn maze this weekend so I’m sure we’ll have some cute pictures of that to share that I’ll post next week.  And we’re hoping to get the plumbing at least mostly done in the basement too so it should be a busy weekend.  I’m taking Ethan to a baby concert in the morning so that should be fun.  The girls get to go to the vet today too.    He is getting more interested in the cats, he follows them around with his eyes.  They still keep their distance from those flailing limbs though!  More later…

I posted a few new pictures today.  Ethan is thriving and getting so big!  He got to visit with some of his friends today at his new friend Evan’s house and had lots of fun (well, technically I had fun, he slept through most of it   He’ll be two months old next Monday, hard to believe!  Shots start then too, yech. 

Hey all!  Ethan will be 7 weeks old in just a few days, its hard to believe!  He has started sleeping longer at night which really makes me smile.    He’s started smiling for us (well, mostly me) too which is adorable.  It’s really fun to watch him change just day to day, it’s amazing how much they change in such a little amount of time.  Congratulations to our friends Andrew and Rachel on the birth of their son Benjamin!  We went to visit him a few days ago.  He’s the same size Ethan was when he was born but there is such a big difference now!  We’re all doing well, Ryan is still working on finishing his classes and working hard.  Anyway, Heroes starts in just a few minutes so I have to go!
