Our little one is over one month old now, it’s hard to believe but true!  He really enjoyed visiting with his grandparents last week and bestowed his first smile on his Granny C.  He’s starting to smile more now, usually for his mom not for daddy yet!    We are getting more used to each other and he’s starting to sleep more at night now.  We still get up twice a night though so please don’t ask how our sleep is going.    I posted a few new pictures so check those out.  I need to get around to taking some of the basement, it’s looking really good.  Dad helped me put up the shelves so I loaded those up and got all the stuff out of my dining and living rooms.  We haven’t put in the bathroom yet but hopefully we’ll get that started this weekend.  Next up, doors and moulding!  Anyway, gotta go feed my boy!

Our little man is already over 3 weeks old!  He will be a month old soon and I can’t even believe it.  He is dong very well, thriving and getting bigger.  He has his one month checkup this week so we’ll see how much he weighs, but he’s at least over 9 pounds now.  He’s following objects with his eyes and is really holding his head up well.  I’m hoping that he’ll start smiling for real soon!  I’m really excited that my parents are coming out tomorrow to meet their new grandson.  It will be great to have them here.  I’ll have to post new basement pictures soon, that’s really coming along well.  The drywall is all done (the contractors finished just after we got out of the hospital) and Ryan finished all the electrical stuff last week.  We mortared down the tile floor today so hopefully we’ll be able to get the bathroom finished maybe by next weekend.  I’m really looking forward to getting all the stuff that’s supposed to be in the basement out of my living and dining rooms!  Anyway, it’s late and I need to get to sleep before Bubby wakes up to be fed.
